This weekend a small group of club members decided to sneak in a extra trip to St Abbs. The bank holiday saw the harbour surprisingly quiet. A few divers pottering about but not the expected crowds. The viz was 7-8 m and the sea calm. The sun even made a showing at times! On Sunday we tried out Paul’s new boat, and very nice it is too! Wuddy rocks swim through was our target. We saw a tadpole fish, cod, Ballan wrasse, lobbies and butter fish. Not a bad haul for early season. On Monday it was the Glanmire with exceptional conditions followed by weasel loch. Paul made us all very welcome as did all the divers on the boat. It was a lovely weekend which just shows how good last minute diving can be. Thanks to everybody who organising it.
